  • SUPERNOVA: GENESIS, the sports and entertainment event broadcast live and exclusively on Netflix, made history by reaching a peak audience of more than 6.5 million viewers on Netflix.

  • The event held the attention of more than 5.5 million viewers (Live+1) throughout its more than four-hour runtime on Netflix, during a night that dominated the cultural conversation and ignited social media.

  • SUPERNOVA: GENESIS became the second-largest Netflix live event in Mexico — surpassing the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight.

  • “We are very proud of our peak audience, but with SUPERNOVA: GENESIS we achieved something even more impressive for a live event: retaining the attention of more than 5.5 million people for over four hours; that is remarkable for this type of event,” said José Lascurain, Director of Live & Unscripted Content for Netflix in Mexico.

  • The event ranked #1 on Netflix in 12 countries, including Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, and Peru, and entered Netflix’s Daily Top 10 in 18 countries, including the United States.

  • The event led the cultural conversation, generating more than 516 million owned impressions and 18 million interactions across Netflix's global social channels. The event captured 38 trending topics on X in Mexico, proving it was the social and cultural event of the weekend. #SupernovaGenesis, #Alana, and #MercuryXNetflix were the most mentioned terms.

  • Headline performances by Carín León, Óscar Maydon, and Ozuna, along with the anticipated appearance of Bárbara de Regil, helped extend the excitement beyond their respective fan communities.

  • Celebrities such as Alfonso Herrera, Renata Vaca, Juan Pablo Fuentes, Dario Yazbek, Turbulence, and Pee Wee were among those in attendance.

  • The event was produced by SUPERNOVA and darmah.
