Star-Studded Cast in New Swedish Film ‘The Storm’ - Written and Directed by Josephine Bornebusch

DOWNLOAD IMAGE HERE Netflix announces The Storm, a new Swedish comedy written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Josephine Bornebusch. Bornebusch is also seen in one of the roles, together with a star-studded cast.

In The Storm, Filip's 45th birthday at a luxurious farm estate in Northern Sweden takes a dramatic turn when a sudden storm traps him and his friends. As panic rises, secrets are revealed, and unexpected emotions surface in the confined space.

The cast features Gustaf Skarsgård, Aliette Opheim, Filip Berg, Josephine Bornebusch, Jonas Karlsson, Johan Rheborg, Christopher Wagelin, Sara Shirpey, Gizem Erdogan, Henrik Dorsin, Nils Wetterholm and Nicole Levin. The film has wrapped shooting and is now in post-production. The Storm is set to be released globally on Netflix in 2026.

FILM INFORMATION Synopsis: Filip is turning 45, and has invited his closest friends for dinner at his and his wife’s lavish and newly bought farm estate up north in Sweden. What they don’t know is that a ferocious storm is on its way and that they’ll be trapped together. Their polished acts fall, and an unfiltered meltdown starts. When the panic starts to creep in and they all realise the seriousness of the situation, the farm starts to shrink, secrets spill out, and unexpected feelings take shape.
