Netflix Unveils Trailer for Documentary 'Ice Cold: Murder, Coffee and Jessica Wongso'

Netflix has released the main trailer for its newest documentary, Ice Cold: Murder, Coffee and Jessica Wongso. Produced alongside Beach House Pictures, one of Asia’s largest independent production companies, the film shines a new light on Indonesia’s “Trial of the Century” and explores the murder of Mirna Salihin by Jessica Wongso, her friend, who is currently serving time in an Indonesian prison. 

The trial, the first-ever case to be broadcast live on Indonesian television, was covered extensively by local and international media. The award-winning filmmakers received unprecedented, exclusive access and an interview with Jessica Wongso herself, an Australian native who was partially convicted with evidence from the Australian police.

The trailer video reveals a glimpse of what’s to come in the documentary, including exclusive interviews with the father and twin sister of Mirna Salihin, Jessica’s lawyer, journalists who delved into the case and shows why the case garnered media attention both in Indonesia and internationally.
