Netflix unveils trailer for 'Burning Body', premiering on September 8

No fire ignites itself... Coming on September 8.

Netflix has today shared the trailer for 'Burning Body', the new miniseries starring Úrsula Corberó and Quim Gutierrez, which will premiere on September 8th.

Produced by Arcadia Motion Pictures for Netflix, is inspired by the crime that took place in 2017, when a man appeared burned in the Foix reservoir, in the province of Barcelona. The investigation into the homicide brought to light a toxic relationships’ network, deceits, sexual scandals and violence among several police officers in Barcelona.

This highly anticipated Netflix miniseries stars Úrsula Corberó ('Money Heist') and Quim Gutiérrez ('Honeymoon with my Mother') who play Rosa and Albert, the two police officers protagonists of this story. The cast is completed by José Manuel Poga ('Money Heist'), Isak Férriz ('Below Zero') and Eva Llorach ('Quién te cantará') among others. 

'Burning Body' is directed by Jorge Torregrossa ('Fariña', 'Intimacy'), who also serves as executive producer, and Laura Mañá ('Un novio para mi mujer') and written by Laura Sarmiento ('Intimacy', 'Matadero').

About 'Burning Body'

May 2017. The body of a man is found burned inside a car in the Foix reservoir, in Barcelona. It’s Pedro (José Manuel Poga), a police officer. The event quickly arouses the interest of public opinion, and more so as the investigation reveals a network of toxic relationships, deceit, violence and sexual scandals involving Pedro and two of his police colleagues: his partner Rosa (Úrsula Corberó) and her ex-boyfriend Albert (Quim Gutiérrez).
