NETFLIX REVEALS LAUNCH DATE, OFFICIAL TRAILER AND FIRST LOOK FOR ITS ARABIC COMEDY SPECIAL "ADEL KARAM: LIVE FROM BEIRUT"

Today, Netflix announced that the first local production out of Middle East, Adel Karam: Live from Beirut comedy special will launch on Thursday, March 1 exclusively to all Netflix members all around the world.

In this special, Adel goes back to his hometown to appear at Beirut’s renowned Casino du Liban for the first time. With his distinctly local blend of smart, sarcastic humor, he tackles everything from relationships to the social issues faced by many Arabs every day.

With his unique and edgy style, Adel draws from personal experience to explain just how much Lebanese people enjoy kissing each other, their passion for food, hospital classifications, marriage advice and much more.

With its rapidly growing stand-up comedy special slate, Adel now joins notable comedy stars such as Gad Elmaleh, Jack Whitehall and Dieter Nuhr in Netflix’s effort to bring great international talent to its global audience.
