The popular Netflix dating series ‘Love is Blind’ is being adapted into a Swedish version. The call for casting of ‘Love is Blind: Sweden’ is open.

Love is Blind is Netflix’s popular unscripted series, originating from the US, where singles who want to be loved for who they are will choose someone to marry - without ever meeting them. Now, Love is Blind is entering Europe with a Swedish adaption.

The call for casting is open, and singles aged between 25 and 45 years old are encouraged to apply here.

Love is Blind: Sweden will be produced by Mastiff Sweden and production is planned to begin next year, with a global launch date on Netflix yet to be announced.

The original US version of the show premiered on Netflix in 2020 and has become a fan favorite. The third season launched in October this year. The format has also been adapted outside of the US, most recently in Brazil, by Endemol Shine Brasil, with the second season of Love is Blind: Brazil set to launch later this year.

  • Love is Blind has become a global phenomenon after its initial premiere on Netflix in 2020. The third season of the US version launched in October this year and has been on the Netflix Top 10 list for four consecutive weeks since its release. Last week, between November 7 and November 13, the series was watched for 47,25 million hours around the globe and held a Top 10 spot in 47 countries.

  • Logline: In Love is Blind, singles who want to be loved for who they are will choose someone to marry without ever meeting them. They’ll move in together, plan their wedding, and attempt to add a physical connection to their emotional bond.
