01 May 2022Day 3 of Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival continued with performances across the city. Jeff Ross returned to host night three of Dave Chappelle’s sold out shows at The Hollywood Bowl. Guests included Mo Amer, Jimmy Carr, Michael Che, Jon Stewart and an electrifying performance by singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer, D’Angelo, with help from Questlove on drums and Raphael Saadiq on guitar.

Fortune Feimster brought the laughs during her two shows at The Ace Hotel in downtown LA where Janelle James surprised the excited audience with a set.

It was another exciting night at Outdoors At The Hollywood Palladium. The Goddamn Comedy Jam with host Josh Adam Myers, where guests do a set and then get to live out their inner rockstar by performing a song of their dreams, brought out guests Justine Moreno, Jay Oakerson, Jay Pharoah, and Harland Williams. The show ended with a very passionate cover of Nickelback. Immediately following, Joel Kim Booster hosted a much anticipated night of The Drop In with surpriseguests Cristela Alonzo, Nico Carney, Deon Cole, Jay Pharoah, and Beth Stelling.

Additional highlights from last night included Wanda Sykes performing in front of a packed audience at The Orpheum, Marlon Wayans at The Palace Theatre, Katherine Ryan at The Regent, Sarah Cooper at The Bourbon Room, Nigel Ng at The Hollywood Improv and Natalie Palamides at The Elysian Theatre.
