Netflix Celebrates the Release of the New Animated Series 'Due Spicci' With a Major Event at Circo Massimo in Rome

More Than 10,000 Fans Played Together to Unlock the Preview of the First 3 Episodes and the Special Performances by Coez and Giancane

On May 24, "INSERT DUE SPICCI" was held at Circo Massimo in Rome - an event for all fans of the Zerocalcare universe to celebrate DUE SPICCI, the new animated series created, written and directed by the celebrated Roman cartoonist, coming exclusively to Netflix on May 27.

Closing the event were the highly anticipated special performances by Coez and Giancane (with a surprise featuring by Rancore), who performed their tracks featured in the Due Spicci soundtrack: "Ci vuole una laurea," Coez's new single, and "Non ti riconosco più" by Giancane, the series' theme song. Welcoming them to the stage was Cecilia Cantarano, serving as the evening's host.

During the event, the audience played across hundreds of arcade stations in one big collective game, while also immersing themselves in other interactive activities and themed photo opps. Fans teamed up and took on retro gaming throughout the day - from classic '80s and '90s titles to a video game created specifically for the occasion featuring the characters and settings of Zerocalcare's Rome - accumulating, checkpoint by checkpoint, 1 billion points to unlock the ultimate goal: a preview screening of the first three episodes of the new Netflix series.
