Netflix Announces Racionais MC’s as The Surprise Act at the Sintonia - The Last Party Festival

São Paulo, January 28, 2025 – Get your puffer jackets and caps ready! Netflix has just made an announcement that is sure to rock the Sintonia — The Last Party festival. The legendary rap group Racionais MC's is the surprise act at the event celebrating the fifth and final season of Sintonia. "We've always believed in the power of stories that come from the fringes of society, and the series is very much a reflection of that. Being at this festival is about more than music, it's about showing that the experiences of those from marginalized communities are valuable, powerful and worthy of celebration," commented Racionais MC’s member Mano Brown.

In addition to the group made up of Brown, Edi Rock, KL Jay and Ice Blue, the audience will be treated to performances by other big names from the funk, rap and trap scenes. The confirmed Sintonia stage acts include MC Hariel (@mchariel), Tasha & Tracie (@tashaetracieog), MC IG (@omcig4m), Duquesa (@duquesa), MC Menorzinha (@amcmenorzinha) and RT Mallone (@rtmallone). Rap battles and other surprise performances will round off the event.

The sold-out free festival, for people aged 18 and over, will take place on Saturday, February 1, at the Latin America Memorial, in São Paulo, from noon to 10 p.m. Sintonia — The Last Party will be an immersive experience celebrating the success of the show — Netflix's original Brazilian production with the most seasons — together with the fans who have been its greatest inspiration and support.

The fifth and final season of Sintonia premieres February 5, only on Netflix. Nando (Christian Malheiros), Rita (Bruna Mascarenhas) and Doni (Jottapê) face tough, potentially life-changing challenges. As they deal with new problems and intense emotions, the trio's friendship will be put to the test one last time.

Produced by Gullane, the series is based on an original idea by KondZilla and was created along with Felipe Braga and Guilherme Quintella. The fifth season episodes are directed by Johnny Araújo, Daniela Carvalho and Denis Cisma, with executive producers Caio Gullane and Fabiano Gullane.
