Netflix announces Luz, the first kids and family's series produced in Brazil

São Paulo, May 11, 2023 – Netflix has started production on Luz, the first Brazilian series for kids and families to watch together. Luz tells the story of a girl in search of answers about her true origins.

Produced by Floresta, a producer of Sony Pictures Television in Brazil, and based on an original idea by Guillermo Pendino, the series is directed by Thiago Teitelroit, with a script by André Rodrigues, and starring Marianna Santos, who plays the protagonist Luz.

The cast of the series also includes the presence of Daniel Rocha, Gabriela Moreyra, Dandara Albuquerque, Claudia Di Moura, Mauricio Destri, Mel Lisboa, Celso Frateschi, Marcos Pasquim, Miá Mello, among others.
