No, you didn't hear wrong. The little bird is telling the truth: popular crime comedy series Murder Mindfully will continue, with plenty of new tips for mindful awareness and a healthy work-life balance. After all, nobody is as good at this as Björn Diemel (Tom Schilling)—family man, mafia boss and embarrassment killer.

The first season of Murder Mindfully became an audience favorite in Germany and beyond, with the dark comedy series based on Karsten Dusse's bestselling series of the same name reaching the Netflix weekly Top 10 in 66 countries.

Filming for Season 2 will start next year, with scripts by Doron Wisotzky and Jan Ehlert producing again. Actors Tom Schilling, Emily Cox, Britta Hammelstein, Murathan Muslu, Peter Jordan and many others will also be back.

Murder Mindfully is based on the bestselling series of of the same name by successful German author and lawyer Karsten Dusse. The first novel has been translated into 26 languages. The German edition alone has sold more than 1.5 million copies to date.
