From January 8, 2026, the experiment enters its second round: 30 singles take the bold step in Love is Blind: Germany to open their hearts and focus entirely on what truly matters. Without seeing each other, the participants get to know one another solely through their voices and explore through conversations whether true love can be found without any visual impressions.

In the second season, viewers can look forward to even more authentic conversations, heartfelt dates and emotional connections. But one crucial question remains: can the deep bond formed in the pods also withstand real life?

The season will once again be hosted by married couple Steffi Brungs and Chris Wackert-Brungs. The first season of Love is Blind: Germany premiered in January 2025. After the US original version became a global hit in 2020, local versions followed in Brazil, Japan, Sweden, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, Argentina, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Germany.

About Love Is Blind: Germany Season 2

Is love really blind? 30 German-speaking singles are done with superficial dates and are looking for true love in Love Is Blind: Germany. To avoid being distracted by appearances, the first meetings take place blind: in small booths, the so-called pods, the singles can hear each other but cannot yet see one another.

Those who manage to open up and build an emotional bond through deep conversations face the all‑decisive question at the end of the first round: “Will you marry me?” If the feelings are strong enough, the engaged couples then see each other for the very first time.

From this moment on, whether inner values prevail and they can deepen their relationship is influenced not only by looks, but is also put to the test when meeting each other’s families and friends. Romantic dates vs. challenging wedding planning: who has truly found their soulmate and will say “I do” at the end?
