'Love & Chaos' (WT): Filming Begins in Hamburg for New BTF Series

She is smart, headstrong, and a little bit chaotic. He is curious, spontaneous, and completely unimpressed by rules. In Love & Chaos (WT), two worlds collide that complement each other surprisingly well. Filming for the romantic comedy has just begun in Hamburg.

Based on the hilarious Swedish original Kärlek & Anarki, the story follows an ambitious management consultant and a young IT technician who, at first glance, couldn't be more different: Sophie (Anne Schäfer), a successful career woman, married, and mother of two, is significantly older than Max (Simon Ludwig), who with his relaxed outlook on life comes across as charmingly youthful. And yet, what starts as a harmless game quickly develops into a passionate, unconventional relationship that pushes both of them to grow beyond themselves.

The screenplay was developed by Elena Senft (Kleo, Feste und Freunde – Ein Hoch auf uns!) and Laura Lackmann (Zwei im falschen Film, Mängelexemplar). The series is directed by Hermine Huntgeburth (Die Wespe, Neue Vahr Süd) and Charlotte Rolfes (Samira, Frau Jordan stellt gleich). It is produced by btf (How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast), King of Stonks), with Jule Everts serving as executive producer.

Alongside Anne Schäfer and Ludwig Simon in the leading roles, the cast also includes Ulrich Noethen (Downfall, The Slurb), Emma Falck (Die Vorkosterinnen), Hans Löw (Dear Child, Toni Erdmann, In My Room), Zeynep Bozbay (Push, Bubbles), Moritz Führmann (Alphamännchen, Harter Brocken), and Hans-Uwe Bauer (The Lives of Others, Good Bye, Lenin!) in supporting roles.

About Love & Chaos (WT) Married management consultant Sophie is tasked with modernizing the long-established Hamburg publishing house “Blomberg & Ulmann.” There, she starts a provocative game with young IT technician Max, in which they challenge each other to break free from social conventions. In doing so, they not only bring chaos to the dusty old team but also grow dangerously close to each other...
