24 October 2023If you’ve found what makes you happy, go after it! (Vaguely) inspired by the life of comedian Alexis Arroyo, Nothing to See Here is a tale of the adventures in Me-xi-co-Ci-ty (or CE-DE-EME-EQUIS) of Alexis, an aspiring comedian who was born blind, and Charly, his best friend and manager, who has cerebral palsy. Between making ends meet, making new friends (even if they tried to mug you at first), and finding love, there will be no shortage of laughter along the way.
Nothing to See Here arrives November 17, only on Netflix With a wonderful, funny, unique, and incredible audio description.
“The best part about Nothing to See Here was making a dream come true after many told me it was impossible. I hope that, when it premieres and a visually impaired teenager hears of this series, they will think it’s so cool that someone like me is in it. ‘Nothing to See Here’ is THE project of my lifetime.” -Alexis Arroyo
About Nothing to See Here:
Alexis is a young blind man who dreams of becoming a successful comedian. He moves to the biggest city in the world, leaving behind his overprotective father joined by his best friend and “manager”, Charly, who has cerebral palsy. Nothing To See Here is a bittersweet comedy that challenges political correctness while exploring what it means to chase one’s dreams in a world that is blind to functional diversity. In a city chock-full of woke culture, Alexis will show his audience there’s nothing to see here — and much to laugh about.
