02 September 2021Deep inside the mountain of Dovre, something gigantic awakens after being trapped for a thousand years. Destroying everything in its path, the creature is fast approaching the capital of Norway. But how do you stop something you thought only existed in Norwegian folklore?
Production of Troll, the Norwegian action-adventure film, has commenced in Lom, Norway. The film will be directed by internationally acclaimed Roar Uthaug and produced by Espen Horn and Kristian Strand Sinkerud at Motion Blur. Today Netflix announced the star-studded cast.
Ine Marie Wilmann, one of Norway’s most well known actresses, will play the lead role as “Nora”, Kim Falck plays “Andreas”, the advisor to the prime minister, Mads Sjøgård Pettersen is seen as “Kristoffer”, a captain in the Norwegian army, and Gard Eidsvold will play Nora’s father “Tobias”, a former professor in folklore research.
