24 March 2026Humint, the latest film from director Ryoo Seung-wan, is coming to Netflix worldwide on March 31.
Set in Vladivostok, the film follows four characters whose paths cross in the city in search of leads tied to a series of incidents along the North Korea-Russia border. With their own motives and pasts, they become entangled in a dangerous web of shifting alliances, hidden agendas, and escalating confrontations.
Even before its theatrical release, Humint drew strong anticipation as the latest film by Director Ryoo Seung-wan, the acclaimed director behind Smugglers, Escape from Mogadishu, and Veteran. The film features a star-studded cast including Zo In-sung, Park Jeong-min, Park Hae-joon, and Shin Sae-kyeong, who portray the characters linked by complex relationships and emotional arcs. Their clashes build to intense, up-close conflicts that draw viewers deeper into the story.
From raw, bare-knuckle fights to gunfights and high-speed car chases, the film showcases a range of action styles that reflect each character’s personality and relationships. Filmed in Latvia, the striking location vividly captures the chilling, wintry atmosphere of Vladivostok, grounding the characters’ emotional journeys. After captivating audiences in Korea, Humint is set to reach viewers around the world on Netflix. The film will be available with subtitles in 33 languages, including French, German, and Chinese, and dubbed in 21 languages, including English, Spanish, and Japanese.
