30 September 2026Netflix has set October 30 as the premiere date for the mystery-horror-fantasy series Dead-End Job, releasing its teaser poster and trailer alongside the announcement.
Desperate to escape crushing debt, Hyeok-jun is drawn to a strange flyer advertising a high-paying part-time job — and ends up at the mysterious Spider Staffing Agency, where the pay starts at 50 times the minimum hourly wage and there’s just one rule: never reveal what happens on the job. Sent to what looks like an ordinary convenience store, Hyeok-jun soon discovers that in this nightmarish workplace, every shift could cost him his life.
Director Kim Da-min, who wrote the Netflix series A Killer Paradox, brings a fresh directorial vision to the series, while series creator Han Jun-hee (D.P., Weak Hero Class 2) leads the overall creative development. Lee Jae-wook leads an ensemble cast featuring Ko Min-si, Kim Min-ha and Lee Hee-jun.
The teaser poster finds Hyeok-jun (Lee Jae-wook) bloodied and exhausted amid the wreckage of what should be an ordinary convenience store — a first hint at the price of that irresistible hourly rate.
In the teaser trailer, the head of Spider Staffing Agency (Lee Hee-jun) talks a hesitant Hyeok-jun into taking the job, insisting there's no better gig out there. But once he accepts, the work turns out to be anything but easy, with one grueling ordeal after another awaiting him despite the generous pay.
Dead-End Job premieres October 30, only on Netflix.
