16 June 2025Benedetta Parodi and Fabio Caressa have something to tell us: they will be the hosts of “L’amore è cieco: Italia,” the Italian adaptation of the renowned series Love Is Blind, produced by Banijay Italia and coming soon exclusively on Netflix.
For the first time hosting a show together, Fabio and Benedetta will guide participants on this exciting journey to discover true love, kicking off the process that will lead them to choose someone to marry without ever having met them in person.
Love is Blind: Italy represents a true social experiment, a less conventional approach to modern dating. A group of singles who want to be loved for who they are will have the opportunity to search for a soulmate without the distractions of the outside world and will choose someone to marry without ever meeting them face-to-face. After seeing each other and being betrothed, the protagonists will have the opportunity to deepen their acquaintance in the normal daily routine of a couple made up of work, friends and relatives. Will real-world realities and external factors push them apart, or, when the wedding day comes, will they marry the person they fell blindly in love with?
The Italian adaptation is directed by Angelo Poli and written by Magda Geronimo, Valentina Massouda e Antonio Vicaretti.
Love is Blind premiered on February 14, 2020, in the US and became a global phenomenon. The original US series was so successful that it has spawned local adaptations in Japan, Brazil, Sweden, the UK, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Argentina, and Italy. This addictive series uncovers whether looks, race, or age matter or if love really is blind.
