Anitta Launches Her New Netflix Documentary and Receives a Billboard Tribute in Los Angeles

LARISSA ANITTA-EDITORIAL 23976

São Paulo, March 6, 2025 –  Carnival celebrations are continuing for fans of Anitta! The party goes on with the premiere of Larissa: The Other Side of Anitta, available as of today on Netflix. The documentary explores the artist's life outside the limelight, revealing a more intimate and vulnerable side of the star from Honório Gurgel. To celebrate the release, Netflix has a surprise in store — a billboard on Sunset Boulevard, one of the most iconic spots in Los Angeles.

Anitta is thrilled: “I've been extremely excited about the documentary's premiere, and I'm very happy to be showing the world some of the real Larissa. The documentary also chronicles the journey of my international career, which makes this Los Angeles tribute even more meaningful.”

Larissa: The Other Side of Anitta captures the artist's journey of self-discovery through the intimate perspective of a crush from her youth, who helps reveal the real Larissa to the world. The production features iconic moments from the career of the girl from Rio, including behind-the-scenes footage from the Rio Carnival, ground-breaking achievements at international awards and festivals, as well as topping the global charts with the hit Envolver.

The documentary is directed by João Wainer and Pedro Cantelmo, written by Maria Ribeiro, with Felipe Britto and Melanie Chapaval Lebensztajn of Ginga Pictures serving as executive producers.
