Academy Award-Winning Director Kathryn Bigelow to Direct 'Aurora' for Netflix

• Academy Award winner Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty, Detroit) will direct a feature film adaptation of Aurora based on David Koepp’s upcoming novel. Koepp will write the adaptation.

• Aurora will be published June 7 by HarperCollins.

• Koepp most recently wrote the thriller Kimi, directed by Stephen Soderbergh and starring Zoë Kravitz.

• Logline: The story follows characters who are coping with the collapse of the social order, set against a catastrophic worldwide power crisis.
