'The Asunta Case' Launches on Netflix on April 26th

Netflix has revealed today the launch date for 'The Asunta Case' next April 26th. This limited series produced by Bambú producciones is starred by Candela Peña, Tristán Ulloa, Javier Gutiérrez, María León and Carlos Blanco among others. 

In the clip that announced the launch date we can see a recreation of the iconic interview given by  Rosario Porto and Alfonso Basterra explaining the adoption process of Asunta.

On September 21st 2013 Rosario Porto and Alfonso Basterra report the disappearance of their daughter Asunta, whose body is found hours after next to a road outside Santiago de Compostela. The police investigation soon reveals evidence that points to Rosario and Alfonso as possible authors of the crime. The news shakes the city and even the country. What can lead two parents to end their daughter's life? What hides beneath that perfect family picture?
