Secrets, suspicions and schemes: A Couple of Lies, a new 4‑part seductive psychological thriller starring Emma Appleton, Fares Fares, Frida Gustavsson and Jakob Oftebro, premieres on Netflix on October 30.

Based on the novel by the same name by best‑selling crime author Stefan Ahnhem, the limited series follows two couples whose dream holiday home swap spirals into something far more dangerous, leaving them unsure whether they can even trust the person they love.

A Couple of Lies is directed by Kasper Barfoed (The Nurse), adapted for the screen by Amanda Högberg (Diary of a Ditched girl, Deliver me) and Axel Stjärne (Maffia, Top Dog) and produced by Frida Asp and Fatima Varhos for Asp Varhos; the producer duo behind acclaimed Netflix series such as Love & Anarchy, Barracuda Queens and Deliver Me.
