The filming of the new German Netflix movie SPIELEABEND, which lasted just two months, has recently wrapped. A first sneak peak of the ensemble comedy was aired as part of the Munich International Film Festival. 

Newly in love, Pia (Janina Uhse) and Jan (Dennis Mojen) decide to arrange a game night with Pia's friends. As Jan meets Pia's clique (Taneshia Abt, Axel Stein, Anna Maria Mühe) for the first time, he's under pressure to make a great impression. But when Pia's ex (Stephan Luca) shows up, even the tips from Jan's good friend (Edin Hasanovic) can't help him. It's all to play for – his relationship, friendship and even the truth itself. 

The movie was directed by Marco Petry, who has already inspired a large viewcount with comedies like Partly Sunny and Playing Doctor. The producers were Quirin Berg, Max Wiedemann and Marcus Welke from Production firm W&B Television (Dark, 4 Blocks, Pagan Peak). Sasha Bühler and Lars Wiebe led the project at Netflix.
