KOREAN TELENOVELA WRITER GETS TRAPPED IN HER OWN STORY IN QUEEN OF THE SCENE

SEOUL, December 8, 2020 - Netflix, the world’s leading streaming entertainment service, has confirmed the production of Queen of the Scene, a new Korean original series.

Queen of the Scene tells the story of a Korean telenovela writer who has made a name for herself within the industry for extreme twisted stories full of unexpected surprises, suddenly entering and getting trapped in her own story. The writer faces a series of comedic situations as she tries to escape back to reality. 

The series will be produced by Pollux Barunson Inc., directed by Lee Won-suk(How to Use Guys with Secret Tips, The Royal Tailor) and written by Kim Sua(My PS Partner, Hellcats, I Like It Hot).

Filled with plenty of comedic twists and turns, Queen of the Scene will be released worldwide only on Netflix.
