‘Tis the season! Today, Netflix unveiled a first look at the Swedish holiday film Christmas Switch, starring real-life sisters Felice and Happy Jankell in the lead roles alongside cast members Christian Fandango, Celie Sparre and Anastasious Soulis. The film launches globally on Netflix on November 12, 2026.

This heartwarming holiday story follows the sisters, Mathilda and Freddie, whose personalities and lives couldn't be more different. Mathilda is a homebody who has never left the small-town village and Freddie is a work-hard-play-hard city girl. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, an unexpected twist forces them to swap lives. As they step into each other’s worlds, they face new challenges, begin to question the paths that they’re on, and find love blooming where they least expect it.

The Christmas Switch marks the feature directorial debut of Adam Pålsson and is written by Christin Magdu and Mikael Syrén. The film is based on the successful audiobook “Christmas in St. Anna” by Eleonor Sager, who is producing for Breakable Films AB.
