Netflix Unveils Trailer and New Images of 'Iron Reign'. Premieres on March 15th

Netflix today unveiled the trailer of Iron Reign, the new action thriller by Lluís Quilez ('Bajocero') that will be released worldwide on March 15th.

The port of Barcelona becomes the main setting for Iron Reign, a story in which secrets, ambition and revenge will give rise to a ruthless war and threaten the stability achieved for years by Joaquín Manchado (Eduard Fernández), owner of the port's main terminal.

The new Netflix series stars Eduard Fernández ('Criminal: España', '30 monedas'), Chino Darín ('El Reino', 'Historias para no contar'), Jaime Lorente ('La casa de papel', '42 segundos'), Natalia de Molina ('Elisa y Marcela', 'Un año, una noche'), Sergi López ('La vampira de Barcelona', 'Mediterráneo') and Enric Auquer ('Sky Rojo', 'El maestro que prometió el mar').

The cast is completed by Daniel Grao, Raúl Briones, Salva Reina, Gianni Fruttero, Cossimo Fusco and Ana Torrent, among others.

This new 8-episode series is produced by The Mediapro Studio, with Laura Fernández Espeso, Lluís Quílez, Javier Pons and Juan Miguel Hernández as executive producers of the project. 'Iron Reign' is written by a script team coordinated by Lluís Quílez, creator and director of the series, and formed by screenwriters Daniel Corpas, Asier Guerricaechevarría and Arturo Ruiz Serrano.

Goods from all over the world which, in just a year, can hide over 30.000 kilos of cocaine, making the port city one of Europe’s most important entrances in the profitable business of drug trafficking. Joaquin Manchado knows well, he is the owner of the main terminal in the port of Barcelona. If someone wants to import an illegal load through the port they need to count with his support as well as the collaboration of all the criminal network he has shaped around him.
