Netflix Unveils the Official Trailer for 'Collision Course,' a Thriller by Daniel Sánchez Arévalo

Netflix today unveiled the official trailer and new images for Collision Course, the new film from Daniel Sánchez Arévalo (Dark Blue Almost Black, Seventeen, Cousinhood). The film stars Goya Award winners Laia Costa (Lullaby, The Enchanted), Karra Elejalde (Spanish Affair, While at War), Luis Zahera (The Beasts, Animal), Tamar Novas (The Sea Inside, Gangs of Galicia), Álvaro Cervantes (Deaf, Crazy About Her) and Lluís Homar (Bad Education, Broken Embraces), and will premiere on Netflix on October 30.

Collision Course is a thriller in which no one is quite who they appear to be. The film is produced by Bambú Producciones (The Black Widow, Cocaine Coast, The Alcàsser Murders, The Asunta Case), with Ramón Campos serving as executive producer and co-writer alongside Daniel Sánchez Arévalo. Set at the height of the financial crisis, the story begins when a group of robbers storms a bank in Madrid, triggering a series of unpredictable events. What initially appears to be just another robbery turns into a game of deception, fear and survival, where every decision matters, every gesture conceals something and everyone is trying to escape from more than just prison.

The film marks acclaimed Spanish director Daniel Sánchez Arévalo’s first thriller. In his own words: “‘Would you like to try a different genre?’ Ramón asked me. I didn’t hesitate for a second before answering with an emphatic yes. I was eager to step outside my world and explore stories that hadn’t originated in my own head. When Ramón told me the premise, I felt that it wasn’t merely the perfect vehicle—it was the perfect roller coaster on which to take audiences and offer them an experience packed with action, suspense, intrigue, uncertainty, twists and pure entertainment.
