12 March 2025First Latin American Adaptation of a Harlan Coben Novel Premieres March 26 on Netflix.
Today Netflix released the official trailer and key art for Caught, a new thriller filmed in the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia, Argentina. Based on Harlan Coben’s bestselling novel Caught, this six-episode miniseries marks the first Latin American adaptation of the acclaimed writer’s work.
Starring Soledad Villamil, the thriller focuses on a journalist known for bringing criminals to justice. When a young woman disappears, her investigation unravels a web of interconnected mysteries and suspects.
Produced by Vanessa Ragone of Haddock Films, Caught stars Soledad Villamil, Juan Minujín, and Alberto Ammann, with special appearances by Matías Recalt, Fernán Mirás, Mike Amigorena, and Carmela Rivero. The series will be available to stream worldwide on March 26.
Caught features Harlan Coben as executive producer through his company Final Twist Productions, and is directed by Miguel Cohan (Blood Will Tell, No Return, Betibú, The Kingdom) and Hernán Goldfrid (The Bronze Garden, Thesis on a Homicide).
This production follows in the success of Missing You, the hit limited series based on Coben’s novel of the same name, which premiered earlier this year and, in its first week, ranked N°1 in Netflix’s Top 10 Global for an English speaking series. Caught marks the first audiovisual adaptation of a Harlan Coben novel in Latin America, adding to Netflix’s collection of productions based on his novels already produced in the UK, Poland, Spain and France. Caught is one of the 13 titles by the author that will have its screen adaptation, as part of his creative agreement with Netflix, which includes major hits such as: Fool Me Once (2024), Hold Tight (2022), The Innocent (2021), Stay Close (2021), Gone for Good (2021), The Stranger (2020), The Woods (2020) and Safe (2018).
Caught premieres globally on March 26, only on Netflix.
