Link copied to clipboardNetflix has ordered animated action series Blue Eye Samurai from Michael Green and Amber Noizumi starring Maya Erskine, George Takei, Masi Oka, Randall Park, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Brenda Song, and Darren Barnet.
Logline: A mixed-race master of the sword lives a life in disguise while seeking revenge in Edo-period Japan.
Michael Green and Amber Noizumi are the creators and will serve as writers, and executive producers. They will showrun the series together.
The series falls under Green’s TV overall deal with Netflix.

Jane Wu (Gold Mountain, Jackie Chan Adventures, and Big Guy And Rusty The Boy Robot) will serve as supervising director and a producer.
Erwin Stoff (Edge of Tomorrow, 13 Hours, Chaos Walking, Call Of the Wild) will serve as a NWEP.
