Netflix Canada Celebrates Montreal Grand Prix With Immersive ‘Formula 1: Drive To Survive’ Pop-Up Experience

Netflix Canada welcomed fans into an immersive Formula 1: Drive To Survive pop-up experience during the Montreal Grand Prix 2023 (Friday, June 16-Sunday, June 18).

  • The pop-up took place on Crescent street in Montreal, a popular hub during the weekend’s festivities.

  • Guests were invited to test out their own driving skills on one of two racing simulators that allowed them to virtually experience the famous Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve track.

  • The pop-up also included a graphic lenticular wall as well as an over  6’x14’ digital screen, which showcased the trailer from Season 5 of Netflix’s Formula 1: Drive To Survive.

  • Among the excited guests was former race car driver Bertrand Godin. The distinguished athlete started his career in 1986, and is now an analyst for TVA sports and columnist for La Presse.
