Netflix Announces Cast for New Shady El-Hamus Film

Production has commenced in the Netherlands on an untitled Dutch Film directed by Shady El-Hamus. The cast includes Shahine El-Hamus, Sabri Saad El-Hamus, Minne Koole, Isabelle Kafando, Manoushka Zeegelaar Breeveld, Leny Breederveld, Raymond Thiry, Loes Schnepper, Jonas Smulders, Kendrick Etmon, Tobias Kersloot and Yari van der Linden. 

About the film Amir (Shahine El-Hamus) tries to save his father Omar's (Sabri El-Hamus) family restaurant in Amsterdam Oost. When he decides to resign after a family dispute, he starts working for a young and successful crypto entrepreneur, Roy (Minne Koole), who drags him into his world with its consequences to follow.

Shady El-Hamus: It’s great to maintain the trust and confidence from Netflix and create another film together. A long cherished wish of mine is coming true with my third feature film; where I tell a father/son story in which my father and little brother play the leading roles. It is a very special project that’s close to my heart and we look forward to sharing it with the world.
