Lana Cho will adapt the screenplay

  • Netflix has acquired the rights to Maurene Goo’s novel Somewhere Only We Know and will adapt it into a feature film. 

    • Maurene Goo is the author of several acclaimed and award-winning young adult novels including I Believe in a Thing Called Love and The Way You Make Me Feel. 

    • Somewhere Only We Know was named a Cosmopolitan Best Young Adult Book of 2019.
