Friends Don’t Lie: The First 'Stranger Things' Store in Latin America Arrives in São Paulo on November 14!

São Paulo, November 3, 2023 - Calling all Stranger Things fans: the Stranger Things Day is coming up and Netflix has partnered with the JK Iguatemi mall to celebrate the best fans in the world with a special announcement: on November 14, the official Stranger Things Pop-Up Store is coming to São Paulo, the first ever to be launched in Latin America. For a limited time only, the space with more than 200m2, which includes the store itself and a special in-world circuit, will immerse visitors in a world of mystery, enduring friendships and 80s nostalgia in a one-of-a-kind celebration of the Stranger Things universe and fandom. Friends don’t lie.

After popping up in eight cities around the world (Los Angeles, New York City, Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Paris, Milan, and Las Vegas), the store will provide a unique retail experience in São Paulo, in a space full of exclusive merchandise. From November 14, 2023 to March 17, 2024, visitors will find more than 150 custom and unique Stranger Things pieces only available at the pop-up, which includes apparel, home decor, collectibles, accessories, etc. Among those items, more than 50 will be exclusive to Brazil.

And there is more. “Recognized as one of the main malls in Brazil for anticipating trends and promoting innovation and entertainment, JK Iguatemi will not only launch the official Stranger Things store in São Paulo, but will also offer iconic photo moments for the whole family to have fun together”, says Renata Zitune, Media Director at Iguatemi.

This means fans will also be able to explore a special instagramable circuit that JK Iguatemi is putting together right next to the store, where they can visit four iconic scenarios from the Netflix global hit series, from Joyce's living room to the Rift lab, as well as view four original costumes from the show.  There is an admission fee for this experience for R$ 25,00 per person, which includes an exclusive collector's badge not for sale anywhere else. Passes for the experience will be for sale on www.sympla.com.br, where visitors must schedule the time of their visit. Pre-sale goes from November 3 to November 5 for Iguatemi One clients and XP|Visa clients, while general sale starts on November 6, Stranger Things Day! The circuit  is recommended for ages 13+. Younger children are welcome at their parents’ discretion.
