What do you do when you're suddenly no longer at the very top of the food chain? Four friends, all in their mid-40s, painfully realize that the world has moved on – but unfortunately without them. Yesterday alphas, today rather charming relics. Ulf's job is replaced by a younger woman, Cem learns about the nasty surprises of modern dating, Erik's girlfriend suddenly wants to open up their relationship and Andi gets pressured by his wife's strong libido. The former alpha males see only one way out: a course to deconstruct male stereotypes. But applying what they have learned only makes things worse...

The first-look pictures released today give a first glimpse of the hilarious situations that arise on the way to their new selves.

Dudes, directed by Jan-Martin Scharf (Die Barbaren, Der Club der roten Bänder) and Tobi Baumann (Über Weihnachten, Where's Wanda), will be released exclusively on Netflix on October 2, 2025. The scripts were written by Arne Nolting (The Barbarians, Der Club der roten Bänder), Jan-Martin Scharf, Tanja Bubbel (Biohackers, Charité) and Fabienne Hurst (King of Stonks, Perfectly Missed). The series was inspired by the Spanish original, Netflix series Machos Alfa.

The alpha males are played by Tom Beck (Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei, Einstein), Moritz Führmann (Charité, Tatort), Serkan Kaya (Perfekt verpasst, Was von der Liebe bleibt) and David Rott (Der Mann mit dem Fagott, Kabul). They are joined by Mona Pirzad (Wunderschöner, Rheingold), Franziska Machens (Uncivilized, Golden Twenties), Marleen Lohse (Nord bei Nordwest, Die Schule der magischen Tiere), Jaëla Probst (Eltern mit Hindernissen, In aller Freundschaft - Die Krankenschwestern) and Valentina Leone (Lockpickers, Wäldern).
