'Delicious' World Premiere at the 75th Berlinale Panorama Section

Berlin, 19 February 2025 – A truly delicate world premiere was celebrated by the Delicious team yesterday evening at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival in the Panorama section. The audience was able to escape the freezing cold of Berlin for almost two hours and travel to the sun of southern France at sold-out Zoo Palast. Screenwriter and director Nele Mueller-Stöfen was particularly pleased to present her directorial debut at the Berlinale with her team, the actors Valerie Pachner, Naila Schuberth, Caspar Hoffmann and Julien de Saint Jean, the Komplizen-Film producers Janine Jackowski, Jonas Dornbach and Maren Ade, her cinematographer Frank Griebe, production designer Christian M. Goldbeck as well as Ben Winkler (music).

About Delicious

A German family spends the summer vacation in their French villa. The façade of their seemingly perfect life begins to crumble one evening when they hit a young woman on the country road and take her in. Behind the initial willingness to help, completely different needs soon come to light. Everyone in the family seems to be looking for something different in the woman, wanting to use her – a mistake that will soon be avenged and change the life of the whole family.
