David Tennant, Jonathan Pryce, Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays and Henry Lloyd-Hughes Join Netflix’s 'The Thursday Murder Club' from Amblin Entertainment

David Tennant (Doctor Who, Good Omens), Jonathan Pryce (The Two Popes, The Crown), Naomi Ackie (Blink Twice, Master of None), Daniel Mays (Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, Franklin) and Henry Lloyd-Hughes (Killing Eve, We Were the Lucky Ones) join Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Sir Ben Kingsley, and Celia Imrie

Richard Osman’s novel, “The Thursday Murder Club,” was released to great acclaim and popularity in 2020 and created a devoted fanbase.

Logline: The story follows a group of friends in a retirement home who gather to solve murders for fun, but find themselves caught in a real case. The four members of the club are played by Mirren (ex-spy Elizabeth), Kingsley (ex-psychiatrist Ibrahim) Brosnan (former union activist Ron) and Imrie (ex-nurse Joyce).

This is the latest film to be produced as part of Netflix and Amblin’s film partnership, which also includes the upcoming Carry-On starring Jason Bateman and Taron Egerton.
