Berlin, March 19, 2024 – Wild, free-spirited, tolerant and diverse. Berlin's nightlife is one of the most exciting in the world and puts many people in ecstasy day in, day out. Nowhere else can you party so freely, exuberantly and diversely, regardless of social status, origin or sexual orientation. A perfect hunting ground for the "Nightlife Killer". When three young men from the queer community are murdered in 2012 and a fourth victim barely survives, grief and fear descend on the party scene. Who is behind this? What kind of person is this who presumes to attack the freedom and light-heartedness of Berlin's nightlife and claim to be the ruler of life and death?

The three-part documentary Crime Scene Berlin: Nightlife Killer uses the testimonies of perpetrator, victims and investigators to tell the story of a series of murders that put the capital and its investigators under enormous pressure and still shakes them to this day. The teaser clip released today gives a first insight into the psyche of the "Nightlife Killer".
