Buckle up: Netflix announces cast and unveils a look behind the scenes of Overhaul, the service's first Brazilian action movie

São Paulo, November 23, 2021—The cast of Netflix's first Brazilian action film, Carga Máxima, has just been revealed, as well as previously unseen behind-the-scenes photos. The production, which is currently being filmed in São Paulo and Curitiba, stars Thiago Martins as Roger, a truck racer who starts driving for a cargo theft gang in order to keep his team. Now immersed in the criminal world, he will have to fight hard to leave it. The cast also includes Sheron Menezzes as Rainha, who is also a professional driver, as well as Raphael Logam, Milhem Cortaz, Evandro Mesquita and Paulinho Vilhena, among others.

 Produced by Gullane and TC Filmes for Netflix, Carga Máxima is set to premiere in 2022. The feature is directed by Tomás Portella, with a script by Leandro Soares. Produced by Caio and Fabiano Gullane, and Rodrigo Castellar, with executive producers Ana Saito, Ariene Ferreira, Daniela Aun and Rodrigo Castellar.
