What if your best friend fell in love with your mother? The new Netflix original series Los Reyes de Oriente follows three best friends whose brotherhood will be put to the test in this tale of intrigue, forbidden love, and betrayal. Filming for this story wrapped today.

The series will portray the challenges faced by the Reyes family and their neighbors, in a city that is incessantly demanding and testing. The Reyes will do whatever it takes to survive.  Joshua Okamoto, Ingrid Águila, Elias Toscano, Manuel Villegas, Gabriela Ruiz, and Katia Rigoni are just a few names in the cast who will face the consequences of their decisions on one tragic night that will forever change their lives. Joining them are multi-award-winning actors, María Rojo and Roberto Sosa.

Los Reyes de Oriente was created by renowned writer Leticia López Margalli (Dark Desire, Triptych), directed by Pepe Valle and Mauricio Lule, and produced by Sandra Solares (Jaibol Films), who brought us series like Somos. and Diablero, and feature films like Herod’s Law and ¡Que viva México!
