Netflix reveals the release date of Centauro, new film by Daniel Calparsoro

Àlex Monner, Begoña Vargas and Carlos Bardem star in this adrenaline action thriller that arrives Netflix on June 15

Netflix unveils the premiere date of Centauro, an adrenaline action thriller directed by Daniel Calparsoro (To Steal from a Thief), which tells the story of a superbike racer who, in search of strong emotions, start working as a dealer to clear up the debt of his son’s mother. 

The film will land on Netlix on June 15 and features Àlex Monner (Unauthorized Living, The Next Skin), Begoña Vargas(Welcome to Eden, The Laws of the Border) and Carlos Bardem (Pickpockets, Scorpion in Love, Cell 211), Edgar Vittorino (Below Zero, Queen of the South) and Patricia Vico (Hasta el cielo, I Love You, Stupid).

The Director said, Daniel Calparsoro, "shooting the motorcycle scenes at real speed with the best specialists was an exciting technical challenge. The result is a film that transmits passion and adrenaline in abundance, pushing you to live and enjoy life at every moment".

The shooting of this new project took place in different locations in Barcelona and in the province of Teruel (Motorland circuit). Gaël Nouaille and Laurent Baudens are the producers of the film and Adrià Monés is the Executive Producer. The script, adaptation and dialogues are in charge of Gaël Nouaille with the collaboration of Gemma Ventura while the soundtrack is the work of Carlos Jean.

About Centauro

Addicted to thrills and speed, Rafa struggles to become a professional motorcycle racer, until he discovers that his son's mother is in debt to drug traffickers. To keep his family safe, Rafa decides to put his talents as a racer at the service of the criminal organization. A circuit racer by day, a kamikaze daredevil by night, Rafa is soon forced to make decisions that will change his life forever.
