Alix Earle doesn’t need an introduction to DoorDash, Dunkin’ or Pantene — they’re already integral parts of her daily routine, from starting her mornings, to crossing off her shopping list, to getting ready for a night out. In Earle Meets World, streaming now on Netflix, that relationship moves off the feed and into the story — with Alix’s whole family.

The bar for brands has moved from being seen alongside a story to becoming part of it. Most brand tie-ins retrofit into a storyline after the fact, but Netflix did the opposite, giving DoorDash, Dunkin’ and Pantene a bigger, three-dimensional role built around existing relationships. Each brand came to Netflix with a similar ambition: to build something creative, distinct and elevate their relationship with Alix to new heights. Earle Meets World gave all three a way to do it all at once, with integrations, social extensions and real-world touchpoints that fans can experience. Since the series introduces fans to Alix’s whole family for the first time at this scale, they became a part of bringing these partnerships to life.

Family Must-Haves Turned Family Co-Stars

Earle Meets World introduces the world to the entire Earle family. Netflix gave them a bigger role in front of the camera, letting each one co-star in the breakout debut of reality’s newest “it” family:

  • DoorDash is the go-to brand for life’s chaotic moments. We built a multi-faceted campaign, “Say It With DoorDash,” around one universal truth: some things are easier to say with DoorDash. The idea comes to life through a series of microdramas across social, featuring cameos from Jake Shane (host of the Therapuss podcast and one of the Earles’ nearest and dearest), and in-app gift cards that allow fans to send their own deliveries and let the gift do the talking.

  • Alix has her own new Dunkin’ meal — The Earle-Y Riser Meal — and Netflix helped bring it to life through the “Wake Up World” campaign. To celebrate their new show and Alix’s new meal, the entire Earle family showed up at the home of an unsuspecting couple with Dunkin’ in hand, before Alix and Ashtin took the surprise to social with a modern spin on Ding Dong Ditch: “Ding Dong Dunkin.” They even hosted a pop-up in New York with a surprise appearance by Alix herself, to wake up the world to her new meal and give fans an exclusive look at the series trailer.

  • Alix has relied on Pantene to ensure she has the best hair care no matter where she is – from early mornings to late nights and everything in between – and now her sister Ashtin is stepping into the picture for the first time for the“It’s Actually Pantene” campaign.

From the Feed to the Family

By weaving DoorDash, Dunkin’ and Pantene into the show, into the family’s own channels, and into moments fans can actually be part of, Netflix gave each brand a role, a story and a family to belong to.

The result? One relatable, slightly chaotic family, and the brands that already keep up with them along for the ride.

Earle Meets World is streaming now, only on Netflix.
