The series features previously unseen, revealing discussions about the singer-songwriter's life and work. In this series, Sonza bares her heart and talks about her relationship to fame, mental health, love, and work. The series features special guests such as comedian Whindersson Nunes, her ex-husband with whom she remains friendly.
Fans (and haters alike)will learn more about the production of her album Escândalo Íntimo and the singer's creative process, as she is involved at every stage of the project. Sonza also gives a behind-the-scenes look at the reality of life on the road and recording in studios in Brazil and the United States, as well as discussing her relationships and how she looks after her health. Each interview helps the audience get to know a new, previously unseen side of Sonza, who reveals the lessons she's learned in life, along with the uncertainties and insecurities of a 24-year-old woman — all while showcasing what a powerful performer she is on stage.
If I Were Luísa Sonza is a 3-episode documentary series created and produced by Conspiração/Hysteria, directed by Isabel Nascimento Silva with executive producers Luísa Barbosa and Renata Brandão.
